Be advised that the EMAIL being distributed from Carmen Digiacomo 99th RSC that changes will be made is based on speculation!!

There have been several meetings and much discussion about NDAA and the affects on Non-dual status mil techs. USARC & OCAR representatives have met at least twice in the past month with Congressional representatives' staffers from the Appropriations Committee. Much has been discussed.!!! Several house staffers are in favor of making some of the proposed changes that were outlined in Carmen's EMAIL.. The issue is currently being discussed with the Senate.

AS OF THIS DATE NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE.

Technicians must continue to contact their Congressional representatives and urge their support for change.

WE CANNOT LET UP!!!

WHILE HOUSE SUPPORT IS A DEFINITE POSITIVE, IT WILL TAKE AGREEMENT BY THE

SENATE AND SOME ADDITIONAL TIMELY POSITIVE ACTIONS TO BRING ABOUT CHANGES.
